The HOSP-HT series ceilings differ from the traditional HOSP-TM, as they use Filter Fan Units instead of the normal Filters, which in terms of filtering do not make much difference but in terms of plant and function they introduce a great innovation with respect to traditional systems used in Operating Theatres.
HOSP-HT is a self-adjusting, self-supporting, motorised fan system, with a constant delivery that can be set on various levels from a user-friendly control panel: they do not require Booster Fan Units just the minimum indispensable amount of treated air.
This is a real Laminar Airflow System, with easily adjustable air speed (from 0.20 to 0.55 m/s): at the rated speed of 0.45 m/s they guarantee an air exchange in the area around the operating table above 399 V/h.
HOSP-HT ceilings are formed by connecting the Performance Filter Fan Units to the PS2960 grid: the coplanar installation of the absolute filters without any other devices between them, such as protective netting or diffusion panels, eliminates all interference with the Laminar Airflow and also eliminates those small traps where any contaminating substances could be caught.
HOSP-HT ceilings can be used with mechanical tightness or liquid tightness absolute filters, with working efficiency of H14, U15 and U16 at heights of 66-90-110 mm.
