The HOSP-BO series ceilings differ from the traditional HOSP-TM, as they use Filter Fan Units instead of the normal Filters, which in terms of filtering do not make much difference but in terms of plant and function they introduce a great innovation with respect to traditional systems used in Operating Theatres.
HOSP-BO is a self-adjusting, self-supporting, motorised fan system, with a constant delivery that can be set on various levels from a user-friendly control panel: they do not require usual Fan Units but just the minimum indispensable amount of treated air supplied by Make-Up Units.
This is a real Laminar Airflow System, with easily adjustable air speed (from 0.20 to 0.55 m/s): at the rated speed of 0.45 m/s they guarantee an air exchange in the area around the operating table above 399 V/h.
HOSP-BO ceilings can be used with mechanical tightness or liquid tightness absolute filters, with working efficiency of H14, U15 and U16 at heights of 66-90 mm.
